Ingredients
Proso millet – 100 gm
Sesame – 2 tbsp
Basil – . cup loosely packed
Garlic – 2 minced
Lime – 1-2 tbsp
Salt and pepper
Ice cubes – 2-3
Directions
- Soak the millet and sesame together for 4-6 hours or overnight. Cook them in a pressure cooker until tender.
- First, in a blender, process the basil and garlic. Then add all the remaining ingredients. The ice cubes is to make the hummus creamy.
- Serve with crackers, falafels or with sandwiches and wraps.

I came across your website today and i am really impressed with your approach towards whole plant based food ideology. Kudos to you and your entire team for the wonderful initiative towards this.
Me and my husband have turned vegan January this year and are relatively new to the idea of food and lifestyle. I am expecting a baby soon ( third trimester) and both of us have become severely deficient of nutrients (Vitamin D, B12, Iron) and doctor is saying it is all because of our choice for plant based foods. I am really interested in getting to know the way of life for a whole plant based foods to better the health for both of us and our baby and needed some guidance regarding the same. I request you to kindly direct me in this regard and your help is very much appreciated.
