Ingredients
1/2 kg parwal
1 tomato
1 onion
1 tbsp of cashew
1/2 tsp of jeera (cumin)
1/2 tsp Chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 tbsp Ginger chilli paste
Salt to taste
Pinch of hing
Water
Directions
- 1/2 kg parwal – scrape the skin- make it into half and scoop in the middle and keep the scooped apart
- Add little salt coriander and chilli power in the left over scooped stuff and blend it into a fine paste and stuff it back into the parwal
- 1 tomato – 1 onion and 1 tbsp of cashew – blend it into a purée
- Heat the pressure cooker add jeera – hing – ginger chilli paste then add the purée cook for 5 to 7 min
- Add the stuffed parwal into the cooker and cook till 1 whistle and leave the cooker to cool
- Once cooled garnish it with coriander and some chopped cashews
- Serve it with love
